We also aimed to make math, science and technology education research familiar especially for future teachers and teachers\u201d, says the founder of the LUMAT journal and its editor-in-chief, professor <strong>Maija Aksela<\/strong>.<em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LUMAT journal is proud to publish scientific research from around the world. Authors from dozens of countries have chosen LUMAT as their publishing channel. We would like to thank our authors, editors, international advisory board and hundreds of reviewers <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.helsinki.fi\/lumat\/reviewers\">that are listed annually in the LUMAT website<\/a>.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Only special numbers in the future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>From the beginning of August 2022, the journal will change its publishing process. Docent <strong>Johannes Pernaa<\/strong> from University of Helsinki will become its editor-in-chief. Dr <strong>Mika Koskenoja<\/strong>, Dr <strong>Veli-Matti Vesterinen<\/strong> and Dr <strong>Johanna Naukkarinen<\/strong> will become the main editors. The LUMAT will only publish special numbers in future. <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.helsinki.fi\/lumat\/about\">More information about the publishing process will be updated on LUMAT website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre><strong>About LUMAT journal<\/strong><br><br>The LUMAT journal is published by the LUMA Centre Finland -network and University of Helsinki.<br><br><em data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">Today LUMAT Journals<\/em> consists of two journals, <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.helsinki.fi\/lumat\">LUMAT<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.helsinki.fi\/lumatb\">LUMAT-B<\/a>. Both journals publish <br>research articles on math, science, and technology education, but with a slightly different scope: <br>LUMAT is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles and review articles, <br>whereas LUMAT-B publishes online books as well as proceedings from conferences, seminars, <br>and symposia.<br><br>LUMAT is indexed in several databases like ERIC, Scopus, DOAJ, Google Scholar, EBSCO, <br>and Index Copernicus.
