{"id":1207,"date":"2019-04-01T14:33:03","date_gmt":"2019-04-01T11:33:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.myscience.fi\/en\/?p=1207"},"modified":"2019-04-01T14:39:21","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T11:39:21","slug":"future-of-work-research-and-education-in-the-focus-at-the-international-lumat-symposium-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.myscience.fi\/en\/news\/2019\/04\/01\/future-of-work-research-and-education-in-the-focus-at-the-international-lumat-symposium-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Future of Work, Research and Education in the focus at the International LUMAT Symposium 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>LUMA Centre Finland has the honour and pleasure to invite all math, science and technology <strong>teachers from all educational levels<\/strong>, as well as <strong>prospective teachers<\/strong>,<strong> teacher educators<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>researchers<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>developers<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>other experts<\/strong> to the<strong> International LUMAT Symposium: Research and Practice in Math, Science and Technology Education (LUMAT) 2019 <\/strong> in Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Finland, Europe, from Wed 5<sup>th<\/sup> to Thu 6<sup>th<\/sup> June 2019  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The theme of the symposium is&nbsp;<strong>Future of Work, Research and Education<\/strong> in the context of math, science and technology education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme consists of keynote lectures as well as oral presentation sessions and international <a href=\"https:\/\/start.luma.fi\/en\/start-gala\/\">StarT Gala<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The invited keynote speakers are Professor <strong>Zsolt Lavicza<\/strong>&nbsp;(Johannes Kepler University, Austria &amp; Geogebra Director of Research) and&nbsp;Associate Professor&nbsp;<strong>John M. Francisco<\/strong>&nbsp;(University of Massachusetts Amherst, USA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nThe are no registration\/participation fees.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myscience.fi\/en\/lumat-2019\/\">Registration to the symposium is possible at the symposium website <\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myscience.fi\/en\/lumat-2019\/\">by May 26th<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myscience.fi\/en\/lumat-2019\/\">. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Text: Lauri Vihma.
