Science with a SLAM
ScienceSLAM is a 10-minute science battle, which gives scientists the opportunity to present their research in a bit more unconventional way. Watch what happened when Herbert Einstein and rapping lab mouse called Ben, among four others, presented what happens in their dusty study rooms and laboratories.
Got curious? Watch each presentation from ScienceSLAM Helsinki’s Vimeo:
- Siiri Viljanen: Utilisation of spent sulphite liquor for chemical production
- Nora Pöntynen: Horror autotoxicus
- Sofia Ahola-Erkkilä: Mitochondrial DNA maintenance in hypoxic insults
- Alex Popa: Computers are nothing without maths!
The next ScienceSLAM is held at the beginning of 2012. For more information, visit: scienceslam.fi.
