Teachers and parents keep on telling us that you should finish all of your homework, you should attend all the classes, you should, you should, you should… But in the end, should we?

After reading Toni Kaario’s blog entry The summer dilemma about the difficulties of finding a summer job, I figured that I should share my experience as an alternative to consider when the busy job market is impenetrable: volunteering.

Yesterday was the last day of Millennium Youth Camp. The news, photos and videos from MY Camp 2011 brought back fond memories to one of the 2010 MY Campers, ten pages of them.

What is the best thing about high school chemistry lessons? Memorizing all the nomenclature related to organic chemistry and functional groups? Definitely no. The most amazing part of the syllabus is, for sure, the creative practicals!

As the names of the 2011 MY campers have been finally decided, I, as an alumna camper, would like to congratulate all of you lucky ones and also assure you that the week in Finland, even if it seems to be in the middle of nowhere, will definitely be magical!

It is very unfair how ‘the source of all energy’, the sun, gets to sleep more than we do these days. Luckily (I guess), the sun never sets in the world of social media.

Studying in the IB program is hard work, especially the higher level mathematics is very demanding. But with dedication, you can succeed.
